Jez! I must be stupid because I can't figure out how to remove the wiper arm. Does anyone know the secret? Just removing the allen screw did not work.

And the next question would be... where do I get another?
See if this helps:

Like Papa showed there should be a retaining spring on the underside. I removed my springs because I hated them and went straight set screw myself. But I am guessing whoever did it before you did both.

rthomas98,
I got the wiper arm off but the small spline thingy broke. I think its called a 'Wiper Knurl' small round gear with teeth
Like you did, I'm going to ditch the retaining spring and attach a set screw. Can you please give me some tips on doing it? maybe a picture? That post is only 1/4 and you drilled in the center of it?

this is what broke. I think this is a replacement (fingers crossed)

It looks to me like the broken part was cast as part of the wheelbox assembly, and not a separate knurl. That said, the knurl you show may be able to be used if it is the right size for the shaft and the wiper arm splines. Is the wiper kit you have from FFR or was it sourced from someplace else? I replaced my FFR wheelboxes with a different type that allow me to attach the wiper arms with the single screw that goes into a threaded hole in the end of the knurl/shaft.
Update: My comment on the casting is wrong (doesn't make sense that I would have even thought that.)

Mine still has the knurl on it. Just like you show in your picture above just used the set screw against the knurl. Tonight I will try to take a picture for you. It is currently taken apart as the car goes to the painter in two weeks. But should be good enough for you to see.

I apologize for the picture quality. But here is all I did. I just drilled and tapped for the set screw and used a stainless set screw to match the chrome and got rid of the spring. Nothing special.
