Hi,

I am still early in my build and am very much a novice. I purchased a Forte throttle linkage from Mike, which I understand is fairly new for the Type 65, and I was wondering if anyone has pictures of the linkage installed.
I am trying to figure out where to locate the fuel regulator and that may be influenced by where the linkage goes. I realize I can’t align the throttle linkage until the engine is installed but want to know generally where it will go.
I am also puzzling over where the master to slave cylinder (Forte purchase also) and the Wilwood brake bias adjuster go. If anyone has insight and pictures on those I would appreciate seeing and hearing it!

Thanks!!

I'm using a Sniper EFI so I don't need a regulator. The Sniper has an internal one. I bought a brake bias adjuster but just couldn't figure out a way to mount it that I was satisfied with. I have a 427 SBF from Forte with a TKX transmission and the Forte slave cylinder setup. I don't have pics of the install but it fits without issues. My build thread link is in my signature below.

I mounted mine a little lower on the firewall so the cross shaft goes into the foot box and the rest of the linkage is hidden. I have a Fitech system and it has a built in return spring, I tried adding an external spring but the pedal effort was too high so I removed it.

I attached the shaft supports above the 2x2 frame on the firewall. Just to be sure I had enough clearance for the crank to not hit the top of the footbox lid I flat-spotted the shaft support washers about 3/16" so they would be as close to the 2x2 as possible.

Thanks guys!

I think I am going to put my regulator on the passenger side so that it doesn’t interfere with the linkage set up. Don’t see any down side to that.
