Marco and I took the car out of the garage last night - first time moving under its own power. All I can say is it was exhilarating! For all of you soon to be or current builders who haven't yet had the thrill of driving your own home-built supercar for the first time (even if it looks like an erector set), it was well worth the wait. Keep at it!

Well congratulations! 2 things to think about now that your getting close: the power you felt with just a little gas can be a problem later on. Take some time (off road if possible) to get a real fell for that tiger. Second, you look like a perfect example of getting a Snake Bite on those hot pipes. Having built and driven 4 roadsters, I have the scars to prove it!
We have heat shields, just haven't put them on yet. And yes, a huge parking lot to get the feel will be important. Of course without the body the car is even lighter than it will be when finished. That power is surprising. A bit more responsive than an MGB or Miata lol
