I just clicked on it and it was fine. You can also just google search Russ Thompson go fund me and it will bring up the link.

Bringing this back to the top. Tears my heart out that this thread keeps sliding down the page while at the same time other treads discussing Russ' products keep getting pushed up top. I'm not judging, it just hurts. I didn't mention this is our latest video because frankly, the news of Russ' passing hit pretty hard in our household. I had just talked to Russ the previous week and he was telling me about his wife Lin and her cancer. He told me it had been a couple of really hard weeks for them. One other thing, Go Fund Me allows you to donate anonymously. So if you don't want to have your name visable, it makes it easier to donate.

I'm really going to miss Russ.

I'm really going to miss Russ.

Feeling for you, and for Russ' family.

Even with never having met him or having used his creations it's clear that his passing has left a hole in the FFR community and also in the hearts of all who knew him.

I'm hoping that in the days ahead a path emerges for his enterprise to continue on.

Both as a tribute to the man and also as a means of providing some financial support for his family.

Earl

For anyone that did not read what was happening with Russ Thompsons wife... she is currently undergoing breast cancer treatment and there daughter has lost her job. We all have moments in life where help is needed. I remember talking with Russ on the phone during my build and he mentioned the Factory 5 parts business was not a hobby he did it to put food on the table for his family. I really hope everyone here will step up and make a small contribution, there are thousands of members on this forum it would not take much from everyone here to make a significant impact for them. As mentioned you can donate anonymously and you also do not need to add the 3.5% "tip" to go fund me, it can be taken off to reduce the overall cost of the donation.

The fund is up to $8,500 lets keep it going!

Did you happen to put a link to this in the Factory Five Builders Facebook group? I know a lot of builders have gravitated to there. Might help to give this some traction.

I did sticky the Go Fund Me link to the Factory 5 Family page on facebook. Although I know the "builder" page is more popular, it is also much more divisive.

Bump again, looks like the fund has stalled out. Please send a few bucks to the Russ Thompson's family to help them out.
