Hey guys,
Been so damn long since I've been on here. I blew up the diff in my Mendeola over a year ago.
I sent them my box, and a deposit on a new sequential shifter box.
I don't want to pull the trigger, yet, and say that I have flat been ripped off.
But now I can't even get an answering machine to answer.
What is the word on the street, are these guys still in business?

Been waiting on my order since July 2021. Sent Ian a voice mail and email. Took a few weeks to get his reply. Spoke to him in January 2023. According to him, yes, they're still in business.

They moved back to almost the same location they were at previously and Ian said they should not be moving again. That said, I know the business move set back time schedules from "really long" to "really REALLY long." Went to the new location a couple times now and the machines were running when I was there. Lots of gearboxes on the benches.

Crash, thank you for jumping in, I was hoping you would.
Glad to know they moved, I'm about to go visit them.
Care to share their new addres, that would be helpful?

If you pull it up on Google it still shows the old address, but if you go to their website, it shows the new address...

They are back to being a stones throw from the US Mexico border.

Sorry about that.
We had a power grid failure yesterday morning. (Electric Vehicles all pluged in for a Monday)
I had not noticed it turned off the phone system till almost end of day.
I was to busy cutting gears.

To be fair, I was able to make contact.

I’ve been trying to get on mendeola website for a few days and it’s not bringing up anything. Hopefully they are updating it.

Placed my order with Mendeola on January 2020, and I am still waiting. Difficult to get a response, too. That is 3.5 years so far. I am stuck, because I need to move. Are there any builders out there?

I was there on Friday.
Saw probably a half dozen new gearboxes in various states of completion.
Ian said they are waiting for parts to come back from heat treat.
I can tell you from my own experiences with heat treaters...it is a bit of a crap shoot as to what you get back and when that happens, but there are definitely quite a few new gear boxes in their shop right now.

Its nice to know there are several boxes in work, but I know the feeling of the wait. I clocked in at about 2.25 years for mine.
