Parking Brake Cable Length

I have a Moser 8.8 3-Link rear axle with Mustang GT brakes, all from Forte. I am working on the parking brakes and what I have read says the parking brake cable length is 71" and the cable housing 65.89". When I route the cable housing it looks to be about 13-14" too long for both sides. Any suggestions on what the best length is for this set-up?
