SO the rewire on my 16 year completed Roadster has me thinking that a new harness would be great. It currently has a donor harness in it and as you can image has some unnecessary wiring in it. I did diet out a bunch when I first built the car but not all.

Has another member done what I'm thinking about doing in a competed car? Was It as royal pain? The only wires I dont think I could access are the ones going to trans tunnel as these are under the carpet. I could splice onto them up top.

650 bucks for a harness just for piece of mind and to satisfy my semi OCD is a small price to pay.

My saying is "I've spent more on less"

It will definitely be a pain in the a$$ to do but I think it will be worth it. I would not consider splicing. Do whatever you need to do to access those wires. I don't see where you live so don't know your seasons but this would be a great winter upgrade if you can't drive then.

Yeah I wasn't allowed to edit my profile until I had enough posts. I've been around for over 20 years and am one of the original members on the other site. I haven't posted much here. I'm in the Upstate of SC so winter is over for us. I actually started the dash project last winter. LOL

Looks like FF is sold out of the harness anyway so I'll wait for another time.

Thanks

FFR was out of the harness when I bought mine so I bought direct from Ron Francis Wiring and they shipped right away.
