Hey guys. Broke my front left Bilstein shock. Luckily I was just backing it off the lift. 2006 MKIII build and I do have the new springs from the previous recall. What shocks are a good replacement? FFR wants $600 for the new set of Koni's, and I fear they would be on a backorder.
Any advice? Found these for less $ Would these work?

Did you try Mark at Breeze? Super guy and very knowledgeable.

You can't find just the shock? Or a pair without the springs?

FYI, I would NEVER buy anything on 2040Parts.com. It's just a middle-website that references products elsewhere and only processes the order. They never have up to date information, and probably located in Russia or something.

Dang, I'll bet that's exactly what I need. I just placed an order with FFR because they said they had them in stock. But I've been told that before. I may hit you up on these. I assume they are front shock kits? Why didn't you use them?
