View Full Version : Are Breeze Wind Wing mounted Mirrors Adjustable?

Perhaps I'm missing something (hardware or Understanding) but the Breeze mirrors cannot be adjusted. Once, for example, when the mirror is set at the desired angle, the wind wing cannot be moved out or in as perhaps desired by the passenger without knocking mirror out of alignment for the driver. Plus the mirror cannot be adjusted up or down; it a one position setting and that all she wrote. Am I missing something?

Isn’t the mirror on a ball swivel that adjusts in any direction? Maybe different than the ones I’m thinking of. Curious to see your mirrors.

The mirror is on a ball swivel. But that said you are correct if you move the wind wing you are moving the mirror.

They are adjustable as others have said, but they are very stiff and take a bit of effort to move them. I don't find that I've ever moved the wind wings, so once set, they have been perfect.

Ahhh. I just get 'em and the swivel is so tight I was reluctant to twist too hard but swivel they do with a good bit of torque (which is a good thing I guess).
Thanks all.

Haha. I had the exact same question a couple weeks ago. They were so stiff, I was afraid to 'force' them. So, I asked a buddy on the forum here (Sabersaw) that has them. I asked the same as you did, do you need to 'adjust' the mirrors with the windwing placement.
Seeing your thread, now I don't feel so bad about asking. lol

One of the only problems I have with the wind wing mounted mirrors is; you loose the wind wing, you loose the mirror. While the mirrors are held to the wind wing really securely, only two small set screws hold the wind wing to the windscreen post.

Had mine for years, it's never been an issue. Once I set them up, they've never moved and the field of view is great.

I have these mirrors on wind wings and agree with others that once set, you don't really ever move them. The mirrors themselves are hard to maneuver because the adjustment ball is somewhat tight, but the mirrors hold their setting until something bumps them. Two years, no issues and all fittings hold tightly. I did use a little pink (low strength) thread lock, though.
