I finally caught this documentary this weekend. Very intense and interesting. I recommend watching it even if you're not an F1 fan.

Where did you see it? Speed channel? I'm a BIG F1 fan, and I'd really like to see that one. Senna was one of the all time greats in Formula 1 racing. Loved to watch him drive!

Netflix has it available for streaming only right now. I'll probably pick up the Blu-ray at some point.

Yeah, I saw it listed on Netflix and on iTunes. Looks like it might only be available online for a while and the DVD arrives in March. At least that's the date Amazon (http://www.amazon.com/Senna-Ayrton/dp/B006JD48NM/ref=sr_1_2?s=movies-tv&ie=UTF8&qid=1326139479&sr=1-2) is posting. I watched the trailer and definitely plan on checking it on Netflix soon.

Watched it on Netflix the other day as well, it sounds strange to say I enjoyed it, but it was a good movie. I had no idea about how much dislike there was between him and Prost, and certainly you see how political racing can be. The footage of the Martin Donnelly crash was pretty chilling as well, I had to google him to see he made a full recovery though never again raced in F1. He drove a lotus of the same spec as the one in his crash last year though at the Goodwood Festival of Speed which I thought was pretty cool.

Just saw it on reccomendation from a friend at my car club who had a HUGE admiration for Senna. I was really touched how he was proud of his brazillian heritage. It shows how influential sports heroes can be to impoverished nations. I see the same kind of sentiment among fillipinos and fillipino americans to Many Pacqiao.
I will say, while I was horrified at Rubens Barichello's crash, in the back of my head I was thinking how the Stig would have replayed that clip over and over again....this is assuming the Stig has eyes...or fingers.
