Here's one clip from this past Wednesday- happened to be the quickest/fastest of the night: 13.10 secs at 105 mph.
https://youtu.be/N0cqB8dq1kQ
Motor is a FRPP 302 Boss block 302 (b cam 345 hp crate motor).
3.55 IRS / TKO600 / Nitto NT01s / FFR stainless headers and side pipes
This is as quick as it's going to get- my Chevelle is a half second quicker at the same trap speed which is interesting.
I also tried 3 wing angles- not that it helps at the drags but to see the effect on drag (pun intended).
0 degrees (to the ground) - 105 mph
5 degrees - 104 mph
10 degrees - 102 mph and the car felt slow
Just for my amusement. Also a hundred mile round-trip drive with the the loud pipes.
Time for more power. I'm considering a head change to AFR Renegades to bump the compression up from 9 to 10:1
Maybe do that first and then swap cams.
Something do to and I'm not looking to be 'done' with the car.
