Has anyone installed the Russ Thompsom "Turn Signal System" and Forte's "Quick Release Steering Hub Kit" together in the MKIV? If so; did the steering wheel protrude any further into the cockpit than it's normal position? Thanks

You have to send your steering hub into Russ for modification to trip the turn signal. I do not think you can have both, it is one or the other.
It would be nice to be able to have both. I went with Russ' turn signal and will use the momentary switch to switch to my high beams and back.

My system will not work wih the quick release systems except for one which is prety expensive.
To be honest I don't see many guys actually use the feature much. :-)

The Russ signal allows the Steering
wheel to remain in the regular position.

Yeah. The quick release really isn't needed on the roadster.

I love Russ' kit. But if your set on using a quick release for the wheel you might want to look into the Ford Probe turn signal. It is self cancelling and can also do multiple duty with controls for high/low beam as well. Just a thought
