Cobra Christmas Party 2011

We had a great turnout with chilly, though sunny weather. 28 gearheads enjoyed lots of fun, food, the occasional adult beverage and RACE TRACK TIME!! Matt brought his brand new race simulator that has all the bells and whistles. Truly amazing piece of machinery. In my job, I have to fly simulators for training and certification purposes but this simulator is FUN! Many crashes on the high speed track at Monza but somehow the car and driver always managed to survive with no injury. Great fun! You may have noticed that the ping pong table was only used as a place to set drinks on or place to put your coat. Guess I could have left that folded up and out of the way. LOL!

WELCOME BACK, KENNIE!

One of the highlights of the party was welcoming Kennie Pagan back to the US, after serving a 1 year tour in Iraq as an Army Blackhawk helicopter pilot. Thank you for your service, Kennie and thanks to Michaelanne and family. It is also hard on the family when a serviceman has to do a long tour of duty away from home.

Looks like a great time was had by all. I wish I did not have a schedule conflict as I would have been there. Hopefully next year will be different.
