This was a new site that was being tested out for feasibility by multiple clubs (BMW, Lotus, Porsche)- a big lot at Salinas airport near Monterey CA/Laguna Seca.

Rather short ~30 second runs (first gear only) but everyone got 14 runs in and plenty of time to hang out socialize.

Running my quiet 'Laguna' sidepipes for no particular reason.

Dave, from the video I can hardly hear the engine noise! What's your secret?!? :)

(I also sent a PM)

Thanks for posting. Cheers!

See picture #5.

These are reverse-flow mufflers that I fabbed up with elbows/flares to mate up with FFR headers (ball and socket). I made these specifically to pass sound restrictions at some racetracks. Three bolts/nuts per side and I can swap pipes.

In fact, I'll be on the FFR-supplied pipes at another autocross this Saturday- I'll post video asap.

The car is dramatically quieter with these pipes/mufflers.

I built my car without any sound-proofing and I wear ear plugs all the time no matter what pipes I'm running, so there is that. Road-noise is a fair amount.
