When I started my build, I ordered drilled and slotted rotors for a '90 T-Bird rear brake set-up and had to pay to have the hole pattern drilled at 4.5 instead of the 4.25 that was the spec on the T-Birds. I can't find any of the information on those rotors, and don't remember where I purchased them. My question is, can a rotor from another application that already has the 4.5 pattern be used with the T-Bird calipers? How would I determine if they would be compatible? Never really thought about this till now, and figured I'd check in with those that are much more knowledgeable than me.

Thanks for the reference. It'll be convenient since it's here in California. Great pricing too.

I went big and installed 13" Cobra rotors. Re-drilled them to 4 lug myself, not hard if you have the axle as a "template." Videos on my brake upgrades and everything I used/modified on my YouTube channel if interested.

I'll have to check that out. I did find a company that sells a tool that bolts to the piece using the old pattern and allows you to drill the new pattern. It's about $100+, but it may be the solution.

You can find the correct pre-drilled rotors here:

Thanks Rich! I'm sure I'd have to give them a call to make sure I ordered the right ones, but they look to be the right idea. Would sure be easier than having to drill them.
