Guys,

Has anyone wired a Gen 1 Coyote cooling fan circuit through the Ron Francis fuse box? I need help on this issue.

Thanks,

Damien Donnelly

I believe most people are letting the Ford computer run the fan. That how's I did it until I switched to the Maradyne controller. What are you trying to do?

I started preparing the radiator cooling fan by wiring through the RF fuse panel so I could avoid replacing the 40A fuse inside the Coyote Distribution Box. If I continue alone this way what becomes of the cooling fan wires in the Coyote harness?

Having started wiring through the RF fuse panel is it still possible to control the fan by bypassing the RF fuse panel thereby having the Coyote control the cooling fan?

Thanks,

If your not using the Coyote computer to turn on the fan what are you using? Running the Coyote fan wires through the Ron Francis fuse box would just add more things to go wrong and there honestly is no need. Just hooking the Coyote computer fan wires to the fan works totally fine. Only thing I found was when the fan does turn on it basically never turns off. Lots of guys have added the Maradyne fan controller to help this issue which it does.
