View Full Version : Video of my Two Year Roadster Build

This weekend I decided to assemble a video of my Mk3 Roadster build experience. This is my first ever video editing effort, and it's pretty basic. Includes mostly animated stills and videos of my first start, go-kart, and couple of first drives. But tells the story. The build was a blast. Hope to do it again! Tell me what you think.

A GoPro video camera is on my Christmas list. If Santa delivers, hope to have much better in car footage next year.

These are pretty big files, but seem to stream OK if you have a decent connection. Due to limits by PhotoBucket, had to be in two parts.

Looks great, did you have the frame powder coated or did you paint it yourself ? I like the color

Thanks for the compliments. Everything including the frame, aluminum panels, added parts, etc. is powder coated. Mostly metal flake silver, the balance gloss black.

Very nice job! I wish I took more pictures when I was building my car. You'll enjoy watching this video in the future. I really like the color and how neat your build was. Well done. Are you side pipes ceramic or stainless?

Those are Gas-N stainless steel side pipes. Incredible workmanship, and nice mellow sound.
