McQueen Fenders orientation modification

For you guys using the McQueen fenders. The brackets make the front fenders more of an on top of the wheel orientation as opposed to a more laid back location. I'm thinking of cutting the bracket and reposition it to move the fender more around the back of the wheel and less centered on top. Has anyone else done this? Anyone see any issues with doing this?

Go for it. The FFR fenders are oriented toward the rear to help keep road debris from chipping your paint. One builder even added mud flaps to about 1 inch off the road. They won't hit the road because they're not attached to the body and not affected by suspension travel.
