To all you SF Bay Area Factory Five owners, we are having another get together, actually our first get together of the year.
The usual is at Alices restaurant around 8:30 AM but highway 84 from 280 to skyline is still closed. Does anyone know of
a place for breakfast on the peninsula with a large parking lot. We usually have 10-15 cars so take that into consideration.
Maybe the Hiller aviation museum would work? Hopefully someone has some ideas or we can still meet at Alices as the other roads are still open.

How about a change?
Meet up at the Heavenly Roadside Cafe in Scotts Valley:
1210 Mt Hermon Rd, Scotts Valley, CA 95066
They open at 7:30 AM. I've not been there.
Then drive a mile across town to Canepa:
4900 Scotts Valley Dr, Scotts Valley, CA 95066
They open at 9 AM and have no events planned - free entry/walk around and the best bathrooms ever.

Dave, What an amazing idea! If anyone hasn't gone to the Canepa showroom you must put it on your list of places to go.
Amazing cars including the Porsche 959.
Should we meet at the Heavenly Cafe at 8:30 so we can sleep in then head to Canepa?

i am looking forward to the event on Saturday. I am having it put up on Facebook as well.
As of this moment a 40% chance of rain so hope for the best. Planning on arriving at the cafe around 8:00 as I hear it can get busy.

I would have loved to come out and meet but my roadster is currently on jacks getting a big brake kit and new wheels n tires. Hope to join the next one.

Planning on the heavenly roadside cafe in Scott's valley but the weather forecast is not looking good.
Is it ever going to stop raining, I don't know how much more I can take. I digress.
Let's look at the weather forecast in two days and see what it looks like, maybe the morning will be good.

The weather is already looking better, go figure. The weather people cannot tell us what the weather is going to be tomorrow but they can tell us the climate is changing 50 years out:)
So hopefully this new forecast holds and we are good for Saturday morning. I will keep posting updates as we get closer.

Quick Update- The weather forecast is looking much better so at this time I will say we are a go for Saturday at Heavenly Roadside cafe in Scotts Valley.
I will post another update tomorrow as well.
Still trying to button up the transmission repair, and the other items that I ended up doing. Hopefully the next one!

The rain should stop in the next couple of hours and tomorrow is looking good. Looking forward to seeing everyone at the Heavenly Cafe.
Dave and I should arrive a little after 8:00.
