View Full Version : London Cobra Show - first timer
Hey all,
My wife and I are planning on attending the London Cobra Show this year as spectators. A few questions:
1.) Are most of the activities in London or Dublin?
2.) Which town is the best place to stay? Looks to be more hotels and restaurants in Dublin.
Really excited to go, hope to see some of you there!

most of the activities are in Dublin. There is a lot more places to stay/eat in Dublin. I think the official hotel block is in Dublin as well, and many attendees will hang out in the parking lot socializing. I live in Dublin and hope to participate this year if my car is back in time from the painters.

Welcome - absolutely stay at Columbus Marriott Northwest 5605 Blazer Parkway, Dublin, OH 43017. There is a link on the London Cobra Show's Page for making reservations. Parking lot filled with cars all the time. Many people sitting out - very friendly. This is where it all happens except for the planned activities. Stay here ! John

Dublin except for Saturday. As spectators head into London early Saturday morning and watch for the parade of cars rolling into town on Main Street.
See you there…hard to believe that this year will make #23 for me!

My first time as well and plan on driving FFR9939 from Massachusetts (with a couple of other Roadsters). We are staying at the Marriott as well.
Thanks for the advice! We were able to get a room at the Marriott. I'm really looking forward to it!

If you start making friends sometimes you can work your way into a couple passenger seats for the day. Especially for the parade on Saturday, its a whole experience.

Hey Al. My car was pretty beat up on the way back from Texas a coupe days ago, but I'll get it ready for London. I was just trying to annoy Michael (it's a daily task via text. lol).
