View Full Version : Gas-N Exhaust - Which Headers?

I'm about to order my Gas-N pipes (touring), and I'm on the fence about which headers to get. I am between the Gas-N headers and Factory Five's ball headers. While the former would surely work, the ball headers sound like they would be easier to install and adjust.

Seems like the last time this came up, the ball headers were pretty new and there wasn't a lot of experience with them. What is the consensus now?

EDIT - Probably should have specified that I'm building a complete Roadster with Gen 3 Coyote.

Gas-N headers also have ball flanges on them now. I have no personal experience with the FFR headers but I've been working with Georgie to resolve some issues I'm having and he has really gone above and beyond in solving my problems. In addition to the adjustability of the ball flanges, I needed to offset the side pipe to header mounting flanges 7/8" rearward on the PS and 5/16" rearward on the DS, and needed the PS collector to be 1/4" longer than the DS so the pipes will sit the same distance away from the body. He's making me custom collectors to those specs. I very much doubt FFR would make you custom collectors if you needed them.

Ohh, interesting. I have read many times about Georgie's great customer support, but that is some next-level service. Plus, I had no idea that the gas-n headers had ball flanges now. Guess that settles it! Thanks, John!

From recent postings, it also sounds like Gas-N can customize the portion of the header from the ball to the pipe to account for differences in lengths based on the many variables involved. Talk to Georgie for the specifics, but this would make his headers very good at getting a true custom fit for your car.

Touring Gas-N-Go side pipes allow you to carry on a conversation in the car too!
The pipes have held up really well too!
I got mine just before he offered adjustable headers!

He can do pretty much whatever you need. I was speaking with him the other day and he was working on a set of headers for a Superformance Cobra with a Hellcat engine in it.

I spoke with him today before placing my order. We live somewhat close to each other, and he actually offered to drive over to my house if I need any help with the pipes! Never in my life have I seen such customer service.
