Hello FFR builders,

My base kit will be ready for pick up 6/3/2023. I ordered the 15" rims with the kit. I plan to use the 8.8 from my 1988 donor. What are good disc brake options for front and rear?

Thanks,
Mike

What spindles are you planning to use?

I plan to use the FFR spindles

The Factory Five spindles use OEM 1999-2004 Mustang hubs, 11" rotors and twin piston PBR calipers. The FFR Halibrands will fit. In back to use your '88 donor rear end you'll need axles and a brake package including caliper mounts. I suggest that you call Richard Oben at North Racecars. He can set you up with everything including axles, rotors, calipers, hoses, cables and hardware in one package---one stop shopping and it'll all fit and work together.

I don't think 13" rotors and twin piston PBR's will fit inside of 15" rims?

Thank you Rich. Yes, they are 11"---fat shaky fingers, tiny phone keys and lack of proofreading. DOH!

Godon Levy is a good resource for these questions whether you buy any upgraded system or not. He takes calls on his cell.
