Is there something unique about CXS4265, I have a CXS plate riveted to the foot box under the hood but today when removing the engine I found that number stamped into my frame???
Original owner passed away in 2012, so I can't ask him.
I am sure mine is a FFR as I have the FFR tag below the steering wheel and a copy of the FFR Certificate

If it's actually a CSX 4000 series car, that would be a continuation car built by Shelby Automobiles, Inc. and could be quite valuable in terms of the Cobra market.

Sounds like he got one of the novelty Shelby vin plates and had a number stamped on it? What FFR number is it?

It has one of those but it is also stamped in the frame.

Sounds like someone was trying to make it appear to be something that it is not.

A set of number/alphabet stamps isn't all that expensive. These are so cheap they may be a one time use.
