I was curious if anyone has tried to increase the size of thier foot box in the coupe like others have done on the roadster and what thier experience with it has been? I mocked it up with some cardboard and I am planning on making a new metal piece. It gives a considerable amount of room to the right of the gas pedal, about 3.5 inches. I plan on bending the Forte gas pedal more to the right, so that I have some more space between the gas and the brake pedals.

Yes, I did something similar, but not as far. You need to test fit with the headers on. Also, if running a cable clutch, be cognizant of cable and fork location.
I am really happy I did it to mine. I also moved my steering wheel centerline over about 5/8" to make the shaft more parallel to the car.

x2 on headers fit. Not sure how they're going to fit into the remaining space.

My concern as well. I may have some wiggle room, since I will have to have custom headers made for the Cleveland. Looking at having Georgie make them with his Franken kit.

Made some progress on the footbox panels and thought I would share some photos. I also bent the Forte gas pedal to the right so that I could wear a normal pair of shoes and drive the car. I cutoff the welded on foot pad on the pedal and added the one from the FFR provided gas pedal. The additional space makes it really nice.

I modified the passagen side footbox as well, so that I could mount the heater bypass switch where it would be hidden. It also allows me to run the heater hoses more cleanly up the back side of the engine bay.

I wear gym shoes. Narrow profile. After a thousand miles, muscle memory is in charge of where the dead pedal, the clutch, the brake and the Go button is.
Padding the footbox with Quadmat and carpet stole a bit of clearance - every little bit counts ...
The angle of the steering shaft was a bit of a surprise during the build for me. But then last month I visited Daytona International Speedway. Look out! Left turn ahead! Haha! The design question IMO is whether one skews the angle of the Driver's seat to match the steering column ... ;-)
