Roadster Lower Water Hose

I have the Ford 302 engine for my Mk4 roadster that I am building and the lower radiator hose kept leaking (hose in kit) and today blew out in a test run. I can't find anything at the local auto parts to fit. I can't be the first one to go through this .... suggestions?

Breeze 9 years & no leaks. Maybe time to replace the rubber parts.
