November, Northern Indiana and I was still driving. 32F and rain. The exit cloverleaf I had done a zillion times earlier in the year. I said to myself - about 1/8 into the turn - "too fast, back off". Touched the brakes and watched as the front aimed the wrong way quicker than I could steer.

Slid off on the berm with the driver side dropping first off the pavement and sure enough a graded gravel hump along there caught the belly along the drivers side under the door. Chewed away the bottom lip of the sail there. About a half quart of resin and some couple yards of glass cloth, half pint of paints and only my hairdresser would know. Probably find some other way to get in trouble next time, but I know better about this way now.

It is a quick car in everything it can or does do...

No pictures (cause I was too ticked to take even one). Does that mean it didn't happen?

Just FYI... :)

Ya thanks guys. I'm just North of Rensselaer. Come over to Ft Wayne 3-4 times in the car to visit my brother in town.

FYI, spend some time on the Tire Rack website. Read the warnings about summer perf tires and cold temps. Not only is it bad for traction but it's potentially bad for the tires. I know, been there, didn't like it either.
