Having trouble with the dash wiring..I have the speedhut electric ultra-lite gages. The FFR schematic shows 4 wires , brown, white ,red, black going no where. The gages have the 3 wires, black , red and white for the lights and 2 yelled wires for the senders, water temp, pill pressure, etc.
I wired the red, white, blot for the lights and that works. Can’t get any readings from the sensors
Any help would be appreciated

Your post is confusing. Speedhut gauges are sold by Factory Five as "VINTAGE GAUGE SET." https://www.factoryfiveparts.com/16007-factory-five-vintage-gauge-set-w-gps-speedometer/. Electric ultralite gauges sold by Factory Five are from Autometer. https://www.factoryfiveparts.com/14010-electric-ultralite-gauges/. You need to confirm which you have. Each has a separate section in the Chassis Wiring Harness installation instructions. Plus each comes with their own instructions from the mfg confirming the leads and colors from each. The schematic in the Chassis Wiring Harness installation instructions does seem to show the four wires going "nowhere" but that's just a simplification as these four wires go to multiple gauges as shown in the balance of instructions.

For the Ron Francis harness, which I assume you have, brown is gauge power (+12V), black ground, and white gauge lighting. These are attached to each gauge in a daisy chain fashion as shown in the instructions. Then each gauge has lead(s) for senders as required. These are connected as instructed. It's all there. You just need to follow one-by-one.

Thanks for the clarity. I must have the auto meter gages. Didn’t get any instructions with the gages other than the Ron Francis packet. If I connect the brown wire to the daisy chain for the gages
, I assume I connect the brown from the harness to the red on the daisy chain for the gages.
I tried all of this and connected the senders to the yellow wires on the gages and I do not get any reading for example, water temp.
Any other suggestion appreciated
Thanks

maybe post a picture of your gauge - so we are talking apples to apples

You need to be confident of the gauge brand you have. "Must have" doesn't sound like it. Should be easily identified by the boxes they came in and the links I posted. Autometer's even have the brand name on the face of the dial. There are slight variations on how they're hooked up so. So you need to confirm. I've installed both brands and the mfg instructions were always in the box with each gauge. But if you don't have them, in both cases easily obtained from the respective websites.

With the Ron Francis brown gauge feed wire to the gauge red wires, black ground to the gauge ground wires, and white to the gauge lighting wires, you should have (1) guage needles move and/or sweep when first powered up, e.g. turning on the ignition, and (2) lights should go on when the headlight switch is pulled to the first or second position. If both of these are working, your gauges are alive and only need to be connected to the appropriate sendor. If either/both of these don't work, your initial wiring isn't right.

For the balance, take it one gauge at a time: Oil pressure and water temp require senders on the engine. Variations between engine type. You may be able to use what comes with the gauges. Or not. Very typical to require additional adapters depending on your engine. Tach hookup is also going to depend on your engine, ignition type, etc. Could be a simple connection to a coil or tach wire from an EFI module. Or could take an additional tach adapter in the case of Speedhut. Speedo for Autometer requires the two speed sensor wires from the Ron Francis harness to the sensor in your transmission. Fuel gauge requires the connections from the gas tank sender also in the Ron Francis harness. Volts is easy. Just add another wire from the brown gauge feed. It will measure +12V when the ignition is on. That should be the easiest one.

Aside from lighting Autometers do not have wires on the gauge; they have terminals. Speedhuts have wires, and specifically yellow wires for the signal.

Let's clarify though; do they look like this?
SPEEDHUT/FACTORY FIVE

Or like this?

Both manufacturers have the installation PDFs available on their websites:

Definitely SpeedHut gages. All gages now lighting up. Also have the water temp sensor reading correctly. Oil pressure also has its own sender. Wired the tach to the. Negative terminal on the coil. The fuel gage should connect to the harness.
Should fire up engine soon to check all the gages
Thanks for the help everyone
