I'm going to mount some angle aluminum on the inside of the firewall with some holes in it to zip tie up the harness and I don't want to put it somewhere it will obstruct things. Does anyone have a pic of how a finished car looks behind the dash? Or at least further along than mine. I've just got a harness loose up there.
I'm an ex-electrician and have wired a BUNCH of panels so messy wiring sets me off. Thank you.
It's not a complete view, but the best I could find:

I wrapped all wires in loom and zip tied things to the firewall wherever possible.

Thanks guys, that gives me a good idea how crowded it'll be back there.

I used some aluminium round tube about 8 mm diameter. It has the advantage that it can be formed to follow the direction you want your loom to run plus it has no sharp edges and you can put cable ties anywhere along it without having to drill holes. It can be secured with p clips or rivets.
I use this especially for running the loom through my trans tunnel.
From one sparky to another 🙂
