Large cotter pins - can't find a location for them. Help please

Hello everyone, build #10314. Question of the day.

I have these two large cotter pins left over from my front end build. They were in a bag with the dust covers. Every castle nut etc that required a cotter pin has one. For the life of me cannot figure out where these two large cotter pins belong.

I have attached photo's.

Does anyone know where these belong, or if they are just extras?

If they were in the bag with the dust caps, they were likely intended for the spindle/hub nuts. Maybe your hubs came assembled on the spindle or something?

If you can account for all castle nuts having pins, then extras. Not particularly unusual. Some parts come with them in addition to what's in the kit.
