Quick jack grommets won't lie flush

Hi All,

As the subject says, I'm having difficulty getting the front quick jack grommets to lie flush to the body when the bolts are tight. They'll lie flush when the bolts are loose & flopping around. I think I need to open the holes just a bit, but before I start sanding on a painted car want to make sure I'm headed in the right direction. Also, if you can help me figure out what side(s) of the holes need to be tweaked I'd appreciate it.

I’d open them up a bit. But first, I’d pay attention to which way the bolts drift as you tighten them down. That should give you a bit of insight. Hope it helps!
