I purchased the power steering rack and FFR provided the hoses. The hoses have 6an fittings on both ends. The hoses are too long for my application. I cut the hose to length and I order new hose ends from Summit. The hoses appear to be stainless braided ptfe lined. The fittings from Summit have Ferrels that do not fit the ptfe tubing. What fittings do I need. Are these the right hoses. What kind of hoses are these.

I don't know what brand of hoses FFR are currently providing but braided PTFE hose dimensions are not standardized across manufacturers so you'll need to match fittings from the same manufacturer as the hose. FFR should be able to tell you what brand the hose is.

Contacted FF. They said the hoses are custom made for them. The only fittings that will work are the Summit Racing brand fittings. Contacted Summit. They confirmed are sending me the correct fittings

Can you tell me what the Summit fitting part numbers are? I just discovered the same issue with mine yesterday, and wondered if I was provided the Coyote hoses instead of those for the 302 block. Additionally, FFR didn't provide any means of connecting to the low pressure fitting on the Blueprint 347 power steering pump. BTW, when trying to figure this out, I found a good picture on Papa's thread that shows more of a proper power steering hose with tubing ends that perfectly fit his Blueprint 347 application. I'm wondering if that's what we should have received for the small block.
