When I try to mount the ebrake caliper marked as L/H on the rear left side, there is interference with where I trimmed the ear off the rear spindle and the ebrake bracket cannot line up. Also, this does not match the Wilwood exploded instruction diagram. Is this a case where the L/H and R/H are switched?

If I try to mount the L/H on the right side, it fits but there is not a lot of room between the coilover spring and the ebrake cable mounting.

Which is correct?
Thanks in advance

it always drives me nuts (no pun intended) when car parts are labelled Left and Right... should be Driver Side and Passenger Side

unsure on the manual ebrake calipers, I did have to swap Driver/Passenger sides on the EPB ones because the motor interferes with the springs

I assume they use L/H instead of drivers side to accommodate those with right hand drive vehicles. That way they do not have to relabel for sales in other countries.

Yes, the e-brake caliper on these brakes are installed on the opposite side as marked. LH on the RH side. RH on the LH side. Don't remember where that was in the instructions (if it was) but I've built two with that setup and that's how they go on. The cable faces the back (like your second picture) and yes it will seem like it's close to the coilover spring. But once fully aligned, which you aren't now, they clear. I can post pictures if you like. But I promise that's the correct way.

Left/Right is the better description compared to driver side / passenger side. Roughly 35% of the world's population drive on the LH side. And nearly every company has multinational sales channels. Including Factory Five and I'm sure Wilwood.

Thank you edwardb for the confirmation. Neither way seemed totally right or wrong, there were concerns either way. But now I know how to proceed.
