So, I'm finishing up the wiring and I came across two wires last night that need to be connected. This should be easy. but sometimes I overthink things and then I drink a beer and do some more over thinking.
"Coil/EFI" wire is Key on - run power. Easy enough, this is switched power
"EFI crank power" - is start power ...this is where my brain stopped working. Is this just a constant hot?

Probably no such thing as a stupid electrical question, at least for me. haha
If your talking about the light blue wire, that gets it's power through the ignition switch when turned all the way to start. hth

Sorry, I need to be a little more specific.
Yes, the light blue wire is marked EFI crank power and the other one is orange and it's marked EFI or Coil. The Ron Francis manual says to connect the orange one to "run power" and the light blue wire to "start power".
This is what's throwing me off, I've never heard of constant and switch power referred to like this???

Orange is hot + in the run and crank position of the ignition switch. Blue is only hot + in crank position. Some EFI computers need both for the programming.

Neither of these have anything to do with my ECU, which I guess is what threw me off. The blue wire provides power thru the clutch switch to engage the starter relay and the orange wire is the power to operate the fan and fuel pump relays. So it looks like the orange one is switched power, and I think the blue one is also switched but I need to look at the wiring on the ignition switch first.
