Has anyone recently ordered or received the Koni DA shocks? I don't see them on the FFR order forms or on their parts site.

Alternatively, what options do we have for shocks elsewhere? QA-1? Would love a set of Ohlins!

I haven't ordered them recently. But have used them on two builds. They're nice. But not convinced, for my driving anyway, they make a big difference. Interesting though they're no longer listed in their parts catalog. Plus the order form now gives two options for shocks. The regular (I assume) Koni and then "competition" shocks, without an upcharge. Wonder what that's about. Clearly a change. I don't have any experience with them, but QA1's are definitely an option.

Thanks Paul. I'll ask them what the competition setup is about. Perhaps the same shock with different valving and/or higher rate springs.

From FFR:

Yes, we have taken the double adjustable shocks off the order form. The competition shocks are basically a spring change for racing applications. If you are planning on mainly driving your Roadster on the street, we recommend sticking with the standard 3-link or IRS shocks.

I had QA1 DA shocks on my FFR. I liked them a lot because I run 2-3 autocrosses per month. It was about a 5 minute job to change settings from street to autocross. I got mine from Breeze.

I ordered them last March. Received kit in November. Shocks still on back order from Koni. FFR’s current estimate is May. Meanwhile I’m sitting here with my suspension half done :(
