Looking for ideas on amounting the Heater control valve and the drier. I have a 2ng Gen 33 with a 1st gen A/C unit. For the Heater valve, i'm thinking right in line with a couple compression to -10AN fittings coupled together at the firewall fitting. Not sure about where to put the drier

here's where i put mine on the gen 1. I wanted it where I could fix it if it ever broke in the future 181160.

For my truck build (many similarities) I have it in the passenger footwell. It's accessible and up out of the way. I was running out of space on the engine side of the firewall with the receiver/dryer, radiator overflow, and windshield washer reservoir (required in MI).

Using light bar clamps you can mount stuff to the chassis tubes.

Any reason why this won't work for the heater valve? Used a preformed 5/8 hose with a 90degree bend

I just happed to buy some preformed 90-degree 5/8" heater hoses. That jungle website has them for $12. O'Reilly's wants like $33 for them!
Gates 28471 (https://www.amazon.com/dp/B000C2SCCY/?coliid=I276NZ8VSFUAL6&colid=10F17YXCLGFRE&psc=1&ref_=lv_ov_lig_dp_it)
Oh... and if anyone is looking for those Gates PowerGrip heat shrink hose clamp thing-a-ma-bobs..... Grainger has them for a fraction of the cost of every other place I've looked.

good luck replacing it after body is installed. It might never fail but it is afterall a kit.

Right across the intake for the HVAC system plus will be unreachable with the body on should service be required. Not ideal at all IMO. Plenty of room to put it along the end of the evaporator unit closer to the firewall. That's where I put mine.

Got the 90 degree hose for $14 and on the clamps, Grainger wants $2.58 each with $10.32 shipping total = $21.30. My local NAPA, they're $4.38 each and I can pick them up same day, total = $18.75, That shipping kills any deal you might find.
We went with Hardlines to give us a better view in some configurations without the side panels. At the end of the day we mounted the drier forward on the tube chassis. With the permanent panels in place holding the light fixtures you cannot see the l bracket we fabricated to hold the drier in place. Nearly 100,000 miles with no issues.
