Hello everyone, I am installing my Wilwood pedal box on my cobra build #10314.
The brake and clutch switches seem to me to be too big for the application. I had to thread them both to the maximum in order to get the rear pedal box bracket to fit right. Now there is no room to adjust when the time comes.
Has anyone else come across this situation, and if so, what did you do. Source out new switches or what have you.
Thank you
Honest Ernie

That’s how they fit. Some have come up with better fitting solutions. I ended up not using the adjusting nut on the brake switch to get more extension out of it and it’s just the right length. The clutch switch however, needed some help. I stuck one of those ceiling fan stick-on, metal weights on the clutch pedal arm to make up the difference. The plunger has some decent travel, so as long as you don’t bottom out and damage the switch you have some wiggle room.

Which side of the pedal box brace did you mount the mounting bracket on? If it's on the brace towards the rear of the car you can switch it the the front side and pick up a little adjustment ability.

What Namrups said. I had to move the mounting bracket to the forward side of the pedal box framing to get the switches to fit. But that was 5+ years ago.

My brake switch fit fine, although it's at it's max adjustment. I ground out a small notch to make room for the clutch switch.
