I have a couple of random and admittedly somewhat unusual touch up paint questions.

First off, is there a preferred source for good quality touch up paint? (that's not the unusual question)

Here's why I'm asking. I purchased a couple of these emblems (https://www.csxparts.com/p-37-emblem-nose-trunk-badge-cobra.aspx#) for the nose and trunk of the car.

180979

However, the white in the emblems is really white, and looks odd and out of place against the cream-colored Wimbledon White of the stripes and meatballs on my car. So much so that I can't bring myself to put them on. One idea I have is to touch up the white on the emblems with a paint pen of Wimbledon White. What would be better for this - the paint pen or brush? I'm wondering which will flow out better and fill in the body of the emblem without showing any brush strokes. Thoughts?

I use Automotive Touch Up for paint. You can get virtually any color code in either a spray can, pen, or quarts/gallons. Here is their website: https://www.automotivetouchup.com/

Cost for a spray can is about $25 which I think is a good deal. You will need a clear as the colors are base color only. The pen or brush may show brush marks.... I would use a spray can of base + clear.

Two years ago I painted my raw steel fenders on my Jeep and the color was exact! Still holding up strong.

I also use this same place. I think the prices have gone up - last couple of aerosol cans I bought were about $35....but lately I've been buying the 2oz bottles for $13 and using a $25 airbrush I bought on Amazon. You just have to thin the paint with a little bit of acetone and it goes down great! I've been doing a ton of speed shape sprayouts of different color and stripe options. This decision is killing me!

I did the same thing.... had about 12 different samples.
