I am in Greensboro ... just about a mile from Whitby. Just did "go cart" test driving on my Cobra. Getting ready to put body on. I plan to drive it this summer with body on and then paint next late fall/winter.

There is also a Cobra group loosely based in Raleigh. Some of us meet up monthly at the Morrisville cars and coffee but we also have four other events planned for get-together‘s. There’s a car show in April, another car show get together in June (a few car clubs are coming), a build party probably in September or October and in Oct a bunch of us are driving up to the VIR for a car show, race, etc. we don’t have a Facebook page but we do have one organized as a Google group to keep membership private.
The car show on June 10 is going to special because I am asking for a large cobra turn out as we haven’t had one in quite a few years. If you would like to join us, any Cobra member is welcome to join us on that day. Please PM for details and if you would like to be added to the email group. Starting in April, I normally send out a weekly email with all the local car shows that I have pulled together from Facebook, etc. but other members also post questions as well (paint, engine, whatever…) So not a lot of email and we definitely won’t be spamming your email box with all kinds of questions but if we do, it’s normally cobra related so it’s all good (I hope).
