What's that thread again?

Folks, I recently perused a thread wherein someone described and showed how he ground away the original door latch plate on the frame then bolted in a polished piece of alum to accept the 'new' F5 door latches. I can't find that thread and I have searched, no doubt using the wrong search term(s). Pointers appreciated. Thanks!
