I know i'm probably making this harder than it needs to be but, how did you guys mount your seats? Nothing lines up with the framework of the chassis and I don't feel like bolting through the aluminum panels is strong enough. I'm looking at making brackets welded (or bolted) to the cross braces for a good solid mounting point. Or am I overlooking something obvious? I'm using sliders so i'm sure that's making it more difficult.

I don’t remember what the manual says, but I bought the tilted breeze setup anyway. A lot of people use that.

I used universal brackets from summit for an incline, on both driver's and passenger sides. https://www.summitracing.com/parts/sum-g1150
Between those and the seat I put sliders on the drivers side.
To mount to the floor, the brackets helped locate a bolt or 2 to the frame. I also reinforced the area of the floor where the seat was mounting by laminating some steel plate to it - believe it was around 1/16" thick, used rivets and some RTV....

I've said this before, but I couldn't easily find the relevant forum post. IMO, it's the belts that hold you in the car in the event of an impact, not the seats. If the seats pull out the mounting bolts, the bolts break or the brackets break, it's just an inconvenience the the crash survivor has to repair. If you don't use your belts (not that you would ever consider that), it won't matter how well the seats are bolted in. With my home built slider brackets I was able to get 1 bolt into a tapped hole in the chassis. The other 3 just went into rivnuts in the sheet metal.

I 100% agree about the belts
