OK folks. Looking for what you all are using to clean your engine that is safe on the chrome parts.
Would love to find a spray on that I can wash off without messing up anything. Thanks for any input.

Have you ever tried Purple Power?
I've used this stuff for engine bays and inboard boat bilges.
It also does wonders on concrete for grease spots.

Tire and wheel cleaners are very good. They are formulated to not harm paint, deep clean rubber and remove build up on all wheel finishes. I buy the ones for coated wheels, as I feel they are less likely to dull a coated finish.
After cleaning I use either a Honda or Yamaha spray and shine.
This stuff will high light everything but paper. It is designed to be used on all surfaces of motorcycles. Yes all of them.

I use Simple Green. Very easy on chrome and polished parts. Not toxic. Bio-friendly. And it works really well.
On a car like ours, it never really develops heavy deposits of grease and grime. So there's no need to use harsh cleaners like PP and other degreasers.
