Show me your blues

OK FFR community. I'm at that stage where I need to finalize my color. I am going with some version of a very dark blue; I've been looking at Indigo, Porsche Dark blue Metallic and several others. I will also be doing silver stripes (probably Porsche GT Silver) with matching pinstripes. I do want to stay away from the purples (cobalts) and I would love a metallic.

I'd love to see what you got.....

I am also in the running for dark blues. Check out antimatter blue, Porsche gentian, Audi Navarro (?) , Mazda deep crystal blue mica. I started a thread discussing this very topic on the other forum months ago

Gentlemen,

I painted Redbone Dodge Challenger Torred because my wife liked the color.
When we went to buy a new 2022 Challenger, she chose their Indigo Blue Color.
That factory color has got a lot of flop and an insane amount of depth so check it out.

Porsche have a pretty broad array of available blue colors throughout the years, and the website Rennbow.org does a good job of cataloging them. People can go in and add photos of their cars for a particular color. While not photos of cobras, this may still be helpful.

Indigo Ink and a graphite metallic. The gray is actually darker in light. these pics make it look lighter. Currently getting buffed out so hopefully have some finished pictures this week!

This is Porsche's Night Blue Metallic - this is a few shades darker than the midnight blue.... I think. Anyway, I think Porsche GT Silver Metallic will be the stripe color. We spent an hour at the Porsche dealership looking at this color on a used 911.

Can't wait to get the chassis back to finish up some details... Got my carpet (not going black) this week along with my leather for door panels and transmission cover. Herb is doing a little customization on his panels for me.... details to come.
