I'm about to wrap the dash, so I'm finalizing all mounting holes. A couple clarifications before I go final:
- There is only 1 "calibration wire" in the gauge kit. it is used for calibrating the tachometer and fuel tank level. Once that is complete, I want it accessible and hooked up to the speedometer, as it also serves as the functional selector during operation to change speedometer displays.

- The three indicators on the speedometer are L turn, R turn, and high beams. Therefore I only "need" to have a MIL indicator light in the dash. That assumes I dont care to have a "headlights on" indicator or any others.

Thanks!
Mike

I bought a separate wire from speed huts website. I have one connected to the speedo and the other to the clock. Both buttons are mounted under the dash

I should have mentioned, my kit came with one for the clock already, so technically i have 2. thanks though!

mine only came w/ one. the clock runs about 15min fast every few months, and I'm perpetually resetting it. I usually use the GPS clock on the speedo which doesn't need reset ever, but don't want to replace the clock w/ another gauge (oil temp or something) so I just reset it every few months. once you have your fuel sender calibrated, you don't really need to move the calibration wire again and just have it connected to your speedo all the time.

It's not mentioned what dash layout you're using... but if you're going with the S/C layout (speedo over in the middle) I'd seriously give thought to adding a turn indicator in your "line of sight".
Even with the street-car layout (speedo Rt. of the column) consider it.

The little LED's in the gauges are practically useless in bright daylight - they totally wash out - and the loudest flasher in the world won't overcome the exhaust or wind noise. I used a single (bright) green LED in a vintage jeweled housing for my L & R turn indicator. A couple of 1N400nn "steering/blocking" diodes lets one lamp handle two inputs without backfeeding.

Picture is with the hazards on - my indicator and the Speedhut are on.
