I was wondering whether anyone has any pictures showing the location of their fuel regulator on a FFM firewall forward with a coyote installed. I have seen pictures showing the location of Paul's (EdwardB) regulator on his Roadster with the firewall in the normal position and a coyote. It looks very tight, but it just may be the angle of the picture. I'm going to use a firewall forward, so it's even tighter. Can I simply raise the regulator on the firewall or is there another place to locate it. I would hate to be struggling to move it during the engine install because it was too close to the engine.
Thank you.

I installed mine on the driver's side with enough room for a 90 degree fitting to run to the fuel rail connection; its also on the driver's side of the engine.; an the fuel lines in the tunnel also on the driver's side.

I don't have any input to offer on the placement in the engine bay, but did want to mention that you don't have to do a regulator and gauge in the engine bay. The Breeze fuel setup for my gen 2 Coyote has the regulator/filter mounted on the gas tank with no gauge at all. It works well and I personally have not seen the need for a pressure gauge.

Bradley,
Interesting idea, but I’m using a ProM hanger with an in-tank pump. It uses 3/8” lines for both supply and return. Everything I’ve read says to install this with the regulator in the engine bay, running the lines the full length of the car. There are so many different ways to build these cars, it really gives truth to the knowledge that each and every one of our cars are custom and special. I’ve read your thread many times and gained so much knowledge and information from it and the many others who provide insight, help and inspiration. Thank you.

That's what I figured, just wanted to make sure you knew of the option. You're welcome and thanks for compliment. Looking forward to your graduation day.
