I'd like to find something different so that the headlights don't have to be removed if you want to remove the side panels. I saw one where they cut the side panel so the piece that the headlight is mounted to stays on the car when removing the panel.
I'm having a hard time wrapping my head around how you would remove the headlight each time anyway since the wires run through the bolt, you'd have to disconnect the wires each time also. Or am I not thinking about this correctly?

This is the post I bookmarked. I want to do the same thing so the panels can be removed without removing headlights. This looks really good too.

I mounted a 5 position terminal strip on each side of the fan shroud that the headlight wires are connected to. I just disconnect the wires from the terminal strip then remove the engine side cover with the headlight attached to it.

Worked out well I think. The car is currently the pic used by the FF 33 hot rod builders group on Face Book if you want another pic showing final result.

We mounted the panels then the headlights and cut the panels so the backing of the headlights remained stationary.
