Hi all,

Did one of you installed some kind of protection for the body paint behind the rear wheels?
I "drove" my Daytona for about 1/4 mile between the garage and the street and there was already a lttle dirt on the body just behind the rear wheels.
I can imagine at speed, even moderate, that the paint in this area is subject to violent action.
Have you done something about it? Like transparent shielding we commonly see on the nose of many DD.
Thanks in advance.

I had my car fully wrapped with clear film to protect it. But if you only want to do part of the car. You will find also the front of the car, the area behind the front wheels in front of the exhaust and the vertical area behind the exhaust tips will get hit hard with road rash.

I bought the 6 inch by 84 inch roll of expel paint protector. Cut it with scissors and applied. Works perfectly. Dirt wiped off and I know there are no stone chips that have gotten through to the paint. Bough it off Amazon.
