Rear End Questions

Hello Roadsters,

I am in the process of selecting a rear end out of a 1997 Mustang which is (61.125") in lengnth. Also, I purchased Anthrite wheels 17X9 (front) and 17X10.5 Rear with 315's in the rear. Has anyone used this year rearend and did you use the original Mustang axle set up? I want the tire to be tucked in the wheel well.

With the typical 17X10.5 wheel specs of 27MM offset/6.8" backspace you will need to change axles to get to Fox width. Contact Richard Oben at North Racecars for axles and matching caliper relocation brackets:

Thank you, I spoke with Richard today and he gave me the same advice you gave. Thank you for the great advice. I will get a rear end this weekend and order the axle kit with brake brackets. I am looking for a 3:55 gear to go in the unit.
