10+ months after the kit was delivered, I’m still waiting for Box 7, Carpet and e-brake boot. They’re not holding me up yet, but soon. Is anyone else still waiting on these?

Jack, No intent to be flippant but my complete kit was delivered 1/20 and I received all my carpet and the e-brake boot, so they have carpet. I'd give them a call/email and follow up regularly. My guess is that they're working on getting complete kits out rather than filling backlog orders...

Ditto (delivery 12/13) and I did have a POL list but carpet wasn't on it.

Copy all and thanks. I suspected this. I’ve bugged them 3-4 times about this already to no effect. Time for another call.

My guess is that they're working on getting complete kits out rather than filling backlog orders...
No doubt this is what they do to save on freight. Time to be a squeaky wheel.

Interesting. Mine was delivered 3/4/2022 and I received 2 box 7's.

Not everybody's box 7 is carpet. It's random apparently.

For clarity, I received two box 7's - both full of identical carpet.

A little surprised that wasn't detected during kit delivery. Every time my driver has been very specific about the number of boxes, box numbers, etc. that matched the packing list. But clearly a mistake and hopefully you reported to Factory Five?

I picked up my order, so it was just a pallet of boxes crammed into my truck. Since carpet is one of the last items on the list I just assumed the two boxes made up the set (half in one half in the other). It wasn't until I finally got around to installing the carpet I realized they were identical boxes. I figured one must be trunk.. which obviously isn't a thing.
As for reporting... we know how well FF communicates lately, so I didn't waste my time.

Wow... I'll bet you would have contacted them if they shorted you a box. :( Not judging (really) but this comes up occasionally and the responses sometimes surprise me. The couple times I've received something I wasn't supposed to they sent a prepaid label and back it went. Other times they said just keep it. But at least they decided. I get it. They've made communication sporadic. Depends on who you listen to. Maybe at least offer it to the forum member here who didn't receive his and seems to be having trouble getting it?

i have the carpet and won't need it for a long time (and I might not use the FFR carpet anyway). IF you're blocked then I'll be happy to send you mine and take yours when it's ready.

Maybe we should have a sticky thread here called "POL Angels" where if you got something extra you can be an angel for someone who's waiting for it.... and waiting..... and waiting........................................... ...........

There were plenty of items I didn't contact on them because it wasn't worth the effort and I just sourced elsewhere to keep my build on track. The box ended up with another forum member several months ago. I'm not trying to bust FF chops over it - I had my expectations on certain challenges through the course of the build but I knew in the end I would be satisfied with the service they provided and the end result of my kit. My kit is very near graduation (in final paint now) and will complete in less than a year. I have no complaints, and would highly recommend FF to anyone considering a kit.

See Nicole Smith's post above. After calling this morning, I got a call from Tanya (sp?) at FFR around lunch time. Looks like the stuff will be on the way shortly. :)

Just got the FedEx notice. Carpet package is on the way. :D
