Clutch Cable Removal

Probably a stupid question, but it's been so long since I put this together, I need something to jar my memory. Is it just as easy as using a lever to press the clutch fork forward while I disconnect the cable, or am I not remembering something?

Typically you just loosen the nut on the back side and if you have the firewall adjuster loosen that. No need to actuate anything.
