I just received the IRS fastener pack (17157). Can anyone tell me what should be in that box because I don't seem to have what I need?

I used four bolts and two nuts to attach the center section.

I used two short bolts, spacers and nuts to attach the toe adjustment arms.

Here is what I have left. It doesn't look like I have the right number of bolts to attach the upper and lower control arms to the frame and then to the spindles.
178409

The bolts in the bottom left-hand corner fit the upper and lower control arm to frame attachments. I only have 4 of those (Only showing two the other two are on the car). Shouldn't I have 8 (4 for each side)?

What are those small bolts down in the right-hand corner used for? Also, I don't have any bolts that fit the large nuts at the top.

Should I have used the black bolts to attach the back of the center section to the frame? They seem to fit but so do the ones I used from this fastener pack. What worries me is that these bolts don't seem to be long enough. You can see in the second center section picture that they don't come all the way through.

I am building a coupe with IRS. Would expect them to be the same but might not be.

My inventory for the Differential calls for the following:
2 - M14-2mm x 100mm flange head bolts
2 - M16-2mm x 130mm flange head bolts
4 - M16-2mm deformed thread flanged lock nuts

Upper control arms:
2 - 5/8"-11 x 4 1/4" bolts
2 - 5/8"-11 lock nuts
2 - 5/8" washers
4 - M16-2mm x 110mm flanged head bolts
4 - M16-2mm deformed thread flanged lock nuts

Lower control arm:
2 - M16-2mm x 90mm flanged head bolts
4 - M16-2mm x 110mm flanged head bolts
6 - M16-2mm deformed thread flanged lock nuts

Toe arms:
2 - 5/8"-11 x 2 1/4" bolts
2 - 5/8"-11 lock nuts
2 - M14-2mm x 80mm bolts
2 - M14-2mm lock nuts

IRS Shocks
2 - 1/2"-13 x 3 1/4" bolts
2 - 1/2"-13 x 4" bolts
4 - 1/2"-13 nylon lock nuts

Note: If you are going to use the rear sway bar it comes with a mounting plate and two longer bolts that should be mounted at the same time as the toe bars.

This does not seem to match up with what you show. Hopefully someone building a roadster can jump in and help clarify.

IRS option on the Roadster and Coupe are exactly the same components. I've done both. The list from Scott for the Coupe should be correct for the Roadster.

I replaced all the 16mm stuff w/ 5/8. 16mm = .629 and 5/8 = .625 so just .004" different. I threw out all the deformed lock nuts because I don't like the damage they do to threads. I am maybe 90% sure I switched the 14mm to 9/16. 14mm = .551" and 9/16 = .562" so a .011" difference.

Thanks for the help. It appears I don't have everything from FFR yet.

Same here, it was delivered last week. Do you think FFR knows its incomplete?

Get your self a thread checker. I use this one from Summit: https://www.summitracing.com/parts/rnb-415-103?seid=srese1&ppckw=pmax-tools&gclid=EAIaIQobChMIl7b-s4_e_AIVBcDICh02jwuvEAYYAyABEgKu0fD_BwE

It will help you figure out thread size and if metric or SAE.

I don't really know and I have not bothered to contact them yet as it takes in my experience multiple emails and phone calls to get a response. I took a picture of the contents as soon as I opened it and laid it all out on my work bench. Didn't make sense why there were 8 extra locknuts with nothing to match them up with. But one would think whoever packed it in the zip lock bag should have counted and had a list to go off of.178474

I believe those are the M14-2.0 x 80 flange head bolts for the toe arms. Should measure about 3.15 inches long from the underside of the flange to the end of the bolt, with a diameter of about 0.55 inches.

Are you missing the 8 M16-2.0 x 110 bolts? Looks like you have two in the picture (bottom left) and already put two on the car. Not sure if you are missing all of the same bolt or different ones since not all are in your picture.

The best thing to do is to email info@factoryfive.com and we can look into your order if you have questions. I am also available to look into this, and you're welcome to email nicole@factoryfive.com. I have included a screenshot from our system with part numbers and quantities.

Here is a list of the parts that should have been included in the IRS fasteners kit, per FFR in an email I received Friday since I am still waiting on mine.

Toe arm bolts - yes they are the M14-2.0 x 80mm flange head bolts. Thanks.

I am missing the 8 M16-2.0 x 110 bolts. The bottom left bolts are not flange head bolts.

My kit was delivered in October and I am still waiting on my IRS fasteners as well, so I ordered them separately from Bolt Depot and McMaster-Carr. Interestingly, the M16-2.0x110mm are backordered at Bolt Depot. There must be some pretty big supply-demand mismatches with that specific bolt.

Also got my IRS Fastenders Pack (17157) this week and it was also missing the eight M16-2.0 x 110MM FLNG HEAD bolts. I emailed my rep at FF. Hopefully they will send them out stat.

Hey guys did you see the post from Nicole Smith? Maybe a Dave Smith relative? In any case, it is good to know we have another FFR employee on the forum to help us out. Thanks for being here Nicole.

I emailed yesterday afternoon that the IRS fasteners were incomplete. The response I got back is they are working on it. I'd let them know if you got an incomplete set so it can be taken care of.
